Important Information about Video Ipod
Photos
Since the
first Ipod revisions were made that replaced the older generation Ipods, yet
where the changes good? Now we have five generations of Ipods. The devices has
memory and hard drive space that enables users to download, transfer, rip,
burn, or store videos, music, photos, and more onto the drives. The Gigabytes
or Megabytes however are not precise, in that the IPod's features and other
details suck up some of the memory. Still, some of the Ipods today will store
thousands of songs, hundreds of movies and so forth with little problem.
A few of
the differences between the older versions and newer versions is that the older
versions did not have the touch pads, while the newer Ipods do. I suppose this
makes the gadget easier to use, however I would believe it would make it case
sensitive.
According to few, the
older Ipods were only compatible to Mac, however few people claim that the
fifth generation Ipod would work with Windows.
Battery power is another issue. Many reviewers claim that the life of a
battery on a single Ipod is not as sufficient as it was at what time the older
versions were available. The biggest complaints of these newer Ipods is that
they scratch easy and the power of the battery does not last as long as the
manufacturers claim.
The
Nano has a headphone jack at the bottom of the device, which is also
frustrating a lot of users. I guess another complaint regarding the newer
versions is that you can only charge them on a computer. This presents a major
problem if you are using the device and don’t have a computer in sight.
The
Ipod 30GB is one of the latest Ipods available today that has a built-in
FIREWIRE. The device works with Max OS, Windows ME, Windows XP both Home and
Professional Editions, and Windows 2000. If it were true that the older
versions didn’t work with standard PCs I’d think the majority of people
purchasing these gadgets would own a Mac.
Mac is
one of the less bought computers on the market, yet many designers and other
type of business-oriented people would buy this product. Shoot, they were
basically the only ones that could afford a Mac. Therefore, this leads me to
believe that the older versions would work on standard PCs.
The
hardware specifics on the 30G included a display screen at around 2 inches,
while some of the other brands include a half-inch larger screen. The gadget
has a LCD and Led backlights with a fairly high resolution as for pixel. The
pixels is what determines the colors and size of the screen. You also get more
compatibility it seems with the latest versions. Most players will work with
all types of formats as well, and some come with built-in rechargeable
batteries made of lithium ion, which could give you up to eight hours of music.
It
depends on what you are searching for, but many of the players offer the same
thing, just a little less details, or a little more features. The new Nano is
one of the most popular brands of Ipods available today.
The thing is if
companies are going to build the Ipods, they need to build Ipods with
rechargeable batteries to outlets. I can only see an advantage of having one of
these toys and that is if you are a jogger, walker, bicycler, runner, and the
like. Anything outside of this lists makes me wonder what the purpose is, other
than keeping up with a fad, which often passes quickly.
