I have a new 80 gig ipod video and an old 4th Generation ipod. The old ipod came with a socket for the FireWire cable. This cable can be used to the new ipod video? IPod videos will have the same Watts (W) requirement with the old? Thanks a bunch.
Yes, you can only use it to charge the new iPod and they have the same performance because they both have the same Type of battery have, but you can not have the Firewire cable to sync songs to the new ipod, the only thing u can use to sync music, for it is a USB cable, it already comes with it.
